I’ve been a maker for as longs I can remember. I was born in Pennsylvania to a couple of back-to-the-landers. My parents noticed my natural creative talents and encouraged me to develop my artistic skill. My mom taught me how to sew when I was a teenager and I began making patchwork clothes suitable for my blossoming hippy lifestyle. I feel very fortunate and grateful for the opportunities I had as a youth! After years of traveling and living on various permaculture farms in California, I am currently reliving my childhood in beautiful Portland, OR.
My mediums have shifted over the years and I’ve currently landed on textile arts. Most recently I have become enthralled with making art quilts as well as hand-stitching leather bags. I feel I have only scratched the surface and there is so much depth to experience and create! I am mostly self taught so my style can tend towards the unconventional though I am constantly learning and refining my techniques.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my work and get to know me! I am thrilled to show off what I’ve been up to and hopefully inspire others to pursue their own creative passions.
